On the early hours of Tuesday 18th February 2019, news broke that the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District and the Anambra State Coordinator of Buhari Campaign Organization, Senator Andy Uba was arrested by the Department of State Services, DSS over allegations of money laundering. This came to us as a shocker as this very senator has managed to remain focused and scandal free in the upper chamber for a long time.
We decided to launch an independent investigation into the allegations and found out that it was the handwork of misfits who take pride in running down politicians in the opposition for monetary gains or for personal reasons, a further investigation reveals that the electorates at Nnewi South are proud of their son who represents them at the senate and have made up their mind to return him to the office through the ballot boxes.
Speaking to some indigenes of Anambra South, our political analyst Sucex Bright gathered that the distinguished senator started and completed many projects to the admiration of the communities that makes up Nnewi South constituencies.
What is more interesting during the course of our investigation is that we saw firsthand, Senator Uba’s signature projects as every village and community has something to show that their worthy son is representing well, it is therefore condemnable that detractors will cash in on the fact that the distinguished senator is not one who is giving to too much talk to blackmail and carry such propaganda to tarnish his image. A deeper studies shows that Sen. Uba deos not blow his own trumpet by going to the media or putting up banners to announce his projects, he’s a firm believer that he is elected to serve and not to become a town crier, his works speaks for themselves and it can be seen in the communities he represent, so now we ask, what do people gain with these unfounded stories?
