So far, about $947 million has been donated to help rebuild Notre Dame after a fire tore through the Paris cathedral earlier this month.
And $4 of the money came from Caitlyn Handley, a 9-year-old girl who sent her donation by mail with a handwritten note to one of the French charities tasked with collecting donations.
“I heard about the Notre Dame fire on the radio and wanted to help, I know it’s not much, but every bit helps. Hopefully it won’t take too long to build. Thanks, Caitlyn,” she wrote
Already, French President Emmanuel Macron has promised to rebuild the cathedral within a period of 5-years.
