The Minister for Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has stated that there is no way between him and the governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike.
Amaechi, who was a former governor of Rivers State, said that the issues he has with Wike have to do with the state of insecurity in the State in the last four years which has experienced lots of killings perpetrated by cultists and lots of political violence
The minister made this known when he spoke on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily on Tuesday.
He said:
“There is no war going on between Wike and I. It is like my friend Akpabio, when we met the other day, I said it, we are not quarrelling.
“What is going on between Wike and me is the fact that he wants to run a second term. The fact is that he ran the first term in which people were killed.
“Today, he is accusing the army and not the police because they refused to take bribe from him.”
