Who have I offend in EEDC?
Please my fellow Nigerians, this is my EEDC bill that I received yesterday oo. 13,000 plus for 2 rooms and parlour with bulbs and Celling fan. I have been writing letters for the past 2 years to there office at ogidi for them to review my bills. I even requested for a prepaid meter but yet nothing has been done. Some of the staff collected money from me to resolve this but yet nothing changed. I have send mail to their customer care and no response.
What have I done wrong, I have seen bills from other areas, they are charged 1k or 2k at most for a month. When our transformers spoils, we are asked to pay 10k or 15k for its repair. I am not producing anything at home neither do I stay at home so how come am I consuming this amount of energy. I struggle everyday to earn more salary in other to take care of my mum,brothers, sister and also take care of my school fees but each increase in my income is been given to EEDC bills. The worse of it all is that we are being compelled by their staff to pay at least 70% of the estimated bill. I didn’t consume this energy am paying for, somebody should help me talk to whoever in charge of these company o. I have enough pen and paper to continue writing letters till this is resolved. I don’t have anybody else to talk to, am so helpless please I make an honest income so I hurts so much that I can’t buy anything for myself because I have to pay an exorbitant bill. Please I need help from my Nigeria brothers and sisters to share this until it get to the right office.Igwe Carinarita
