A middle-aged woman who poured hot water on the private part of a little girl living with her in the Ishasi area of Lagos state has been arrested by the police command for assault.
An IG user, with the handle @_ejembi, reached out to police officer @Opetodolapo and the official handle of Lagos state domestic and Violence team
The lady popularly called mummy Onyi who leaves at Iyana Ishashi, Lagos poured the hot water on the little girl’s private part and kept her inside her house for days, attempting to treat the wound and cover up her evil act.
The little girl was rescued and is currently receiving treatment at the state general hospital.
The eagle eye of the neighbour caught up with the woman’s activity which made them anonymously report to @opetodolapo and @DSVRT.
The woman, who has been on the run, was arrested this morning.
